Karnataka PDO Recruitment Process 2024

The Karnataka PDO Application Process has been reopened from 18th September to 3rd October 2024. The Karnataka PDO 2024 Notification has been released for the post of Panchayat Development Officer (HK) & (RPC). A total number of 247 Vacancies have been released for the said post.

Overview

The KPSC has released the official notification detailing the Karnataka PDO Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2024. The aspirants who are appearing for the examination must download the PDO Syllabus and Exam Pattern from the official website of KPSC. For cracking the PDO examination, the candidates should have an idea about the syllabus to strategize their study plan better to crack the Karnataka PDO examination with ease.

The Karnataka PDO Syllabus comprises subjects like General Knowledge, General English, Computer Science, General Kannada, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj.
As per the Karnataka PDO Exam Pattern, the selection process will be of Written Test and Kannada Language Test.

PDO Exam pattern

Written Exam

The question paper is of objective type OMR based.
The question paper will be in English and Kannada language.
1 mark will be rewarded for each correct answer.
There is a negative marking of 1/4th mark in the Karnataka PDO Examination.

Compulsory Kannada Language Test

The candidate must have to give the compulsory Kannada Language Test to get selected for the post of the PDO. The Kannada Language Test will be held for 150 marks. Candidates should score at least 50 marks to qualify in this language paper.

Note: After qualifying the Kannada language test, the selection will be made on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the competitive examination as per sub rule 5(d) of the Karnataka Civil Service (Direct Recruitment) (General) Rules 2021 and Amended Rules 2022 and as per the prevailing reservation rules.
